I got Mikey screentone as part of his holiday present. He used it to make this comic. It looks so rad. Screentone, apparently, is what they used to use to make shading in comics (pre-photoshop). It’s a sticky sheet of paper with a pattern printed on it. You cut it out and stick it right on your drawing wherever you want a halftone. I had no idea!one-page comic done for my illustration class this winter. done with ink and screentone transfers. it’s about a robot working in a robot factory. you know, existential science-fiction.
